Research-Based Early Learning — Simplified

We aim to bridge the gap between research and real life — by simplifying credible insights from early childhood education and making them practical, relatable, and accessible for parents and educators working directly with children during the critical first six to seven years of life.

What ELG Is

Research-Based Insights

Over the past 30 to 40 years, research in early childhood education has grown rapidly, revealing how young children truly learn and what best supports their development. ELG brings these powerful insights to the people who need them most — the parents and educators guiding children through the critical first six years of life.

Developmentally Appropriate Learning Practices

Every child learns best when given the right kind of support at the right time. Neglecting the natural windows in a child’s early years—when they are most primed to learn certain things—or overwhelming them with every product or program that claims to raise so-called prodigies can both be counterproductive. At ELG, we help you strike that balance.

Parent and Educator Support

The adults in a child’s life play the most crucial role in shaping how they learn and grow. That’s why ELG focuses on guiding parents and educators with clear, research-backed insights—helping them feel informed, confident, and empowered to positively shape young children’s learning journeys.

WHY ELG?

Parents and educators of young children are constantly surrounded by advice—much of it conflicting, commercial, or lacking in credibility. Often overwhelmed and occupied with the daily demands of raising young children, they rarely have the time or energy to verify the information coming their way or explore the growing body of research on early learning.

That’s where ELG steps in.

We identify evidence-based insights from the field of early childhood education, simplify them, and present them in a clear, practical format. Our goal is to support parents and educators with trustworthy, research-backed guidance to help children grow into confident, curious, and joyful learners.

OUR GOAL

To ensure every child’s early years are guided by research-based practices that respect their natural pace of growth and learning.

What ELG Is Not

Not About Rushing Children

We believe a strong foundation for learning can’t be built if the essential elements of childhood are stripped away. Childhood isn’t a race—it’s a time to grow, explore, and learn at a natural, developmentally appropriate pace.

Not a One-Size-Fits-All Approach

ELG doesn’t believe there’s a single formula for raising prodigies—every child is unique. But we do believe in core principles that can be adapted to suit each child’s needs, helping lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Not About Early Academic Success

At ELG, we don’t push young children to read, write, speak, or count earlier or faster than they are developmentally ready. If looking for a shortcut to early academic success, ELG may not be the right fit. We believe in nurturing joyful, lifelong learners—not just short-term achievers.
